Q&A: Submit Questions to be Featured on a Future Podcast Episode

Drinking in Ancient Greece – Brewminate: A Bold Blend of News and Ideas

From the Editor

I have been meaning to send this message out for quite some time. I want to make a point of saying that this Substack and in turn, this podcast should be somewhat community driven. For instance:

  • Is there a topic you’d like to hear about on the podcast?

  • Do you have any questions based on what has already been featured? Maybe you’d like to learn more on something specific already mentioned (or not mentioned).

  • Do you have questions based on something not yet featured and related to ancient Eastern Mediterranean history?

  • Do you have questions about this Substack or the podcast itself?

  • Or something else related that I am overlooking.

If enough questions are submitted, I can record and publish special feature episodes to just focus on those questions or maybe introduce a Q&A segment at the end of each episode.

How to Submit a Question or Comment

  • You can always submit a comment to any and every update that gets posted/sent out.

  • There is also the option of sending an e-mail to petros AT petroskoutoupis DOT com. Although, there is the risk that my spam filter may flag it as spam, so be sure to write a proper and clear message on the subject line of the e-mail.

  • Also, do not forget about the discussion feature made available with the Substack mobile application. You can always submit a question through one of the existing threads.

In one episode you mentioned that there is less known about the Mycenaeans than about the Minoans. I was very surprised to hear that as I thought that we know almost nothing about the Minoans.

Maybe you can talk more about who the Minoans were and what we know about them?
